Description
This book was produced to coincide and celebrate the one hundred year anniversary of the Rowsley Hall (1894-1994). The first hall was a Mechanics’ Institute which was built for the purposes of entertainment and education for the local community. It documents over the years how it has achieved these objectives and served the community of Rowsley. It has also been subjected to a number of changes, and the current hall is now named “The Rowsley War Memorial Hall”.
